Which one do you think you'd watch/listen most consistently? Podcast or video?

I like the podcasts since it's something I look forward to listen to during my exercise.

Podcast for sure. I don't watch any FULL podcasts on video. If I'm gonna sit and watch something for that long it's got to be more engaging than talking heads. Even the news cuts to clips. I mean you're competing with HBO and the likes when it comes to video.

That being said I do subscribe to a lot of podcast channels on youtube and Tiktok and seeing clips definitely make me want to go listen. Crooked does a good job of it for me on Tiktok. They sort of act like trailers in that sense. I've actively turned off youtube and tiktok to go listen and do something more productive at the same time.

So if I were to watch instead of listen my "pitch" would be:

- Make it interactive, I love that you guys are telling us to order ahead for food products so we can try them BEFORE the shows. More stuff like that or showing charts/graphs/timelines that you can't see on a podcast (Ithink spotify might have a feature like this).

- Make it stylistic, obviously no small or inexpensive endeavor. When they go through their story maybe stuff like this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbsnGVWmI1M , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vUhSYLRw14

- Make it educational, I think a lot of us like learning about stuff so if the video had subtitles/charts that visually can show what a "seed round" and the terminology they are using.

- Bonus content (the classic) I might scroll through a video for extra stuff if I really like an episode but I also hate how everyone pushes you to "check out our youtube channel for bonus content" as if me listening isn't good enough

- BTS maybe it's just me but I've fully fallen in love with the investors and love their unique takes and perspectives. Love the little bits of setup before the pitch and them joking around. I'd just watch clips and moments or even additional before and after content of stuff like that.

Sorry so long, I work in the industry so I love thinking about all this stuff and all the different ways and things you could do to stand out.

Don't apologize! This is so helpful. Thank you for the detailed reply. We want to give listeners what they want. And we love trying new ideas! (So happy to hear you liked the interactive food product pitches.)

Thank you for the valuable feedback. We are always open to it!

I just listened to Jenna Sereni's episode. The investors were pretty passionate about there being bad accellorators but said there are good ones out there. Can you maybe list some of the "Pitch approved" good ones?

This is a good idea. Maybe a project for us after we are done publishing the season.
